OBGYN in suffolk( around Good sam/Southside area)

Anyone have any recommendations?

I just dont feel 100% comfortable with mine, and Im not quite ready to go to a RE until I have some more testing done and I need an OBGYN regardless...

Re: OBGYN in suffolk( around Good sam/Southside area)

I wanted to add, I really need a DR who has the time to give to each patient, calls patients back, etc...and evening/weekend hours.

I KNOW everyone love stheir dr, I just wanna make sure if you are giving me a recomendation that you understand what Im looking for.

that kinda came out wrong...But I was recomennded to my new ob by a friend, I told her all my issues and the dr's not that good.

Im afraid I will have to go through 50 dr's to find someone whos INTERESTED in helping me.

THANKS for the ref's..those who listed...I will check them out...

That's too bad. I'm not crazy about a couple of the women that schedule appointments but the physican's assistant, nurses and doctor are all great. Just to give you an idea of the type of doctor he is...he gave me his private line to call if I ever have trouble making an appointment or need something. Barbara, PA, is so wonderful. She spent almost an hour on the phone with me going over my pap and what effects, if any, that would have on TTC. His office is about 45-60 minutes for me too. Let me know if you change your mind.

I go to Dr. Leo in Deer Park. He is extremely nice, but I will say that his hours are limited. He will also refer you to an RE if it's out of his hands. He is the head of the board at Good Sam.
You could also try Dr. Tesauro/ Livoti over on Montauk. My friend was the office manager there for years. I think Tesauro is semi retired and doesn't have the best bedside manner, but Livoti is fairly young and was a lot nicer.
