When did DH start to feel kicks?
I am 25 weeks and have been feeling movement for such a long time now. DH is starting to feel bad because he still has not been able to feel this for himself. At what point in your pregnancy did your DH actually feel the kicks?

He felt them for the first time at around 21 weeks, but I think he got lucky. He was right next to me when I was feeling the kicks so he put his hand on my stomach and felt them. He's only felt them a handful of time since then b/c he doesn't have the patience to leave his hand on my stomach waiting for them.

MIne doesn't have the patience either! He stands over me and places his hand on my belly -- this gets me nervous...it doesnt' happen every three seconds! Then I just tell him to forget it and that I will call him when it happens again!

DH started feeling kicks around 20 weeks, but now he gets bored of waiting for them, so he hasn't felt them for a while.

It was actually about 25 weeks for me! I felt them strong from around 17 weeks and on...but for him it was 25 weeks...that is prob the norm so he should feel them any day!!!

same here...it is almost like he scares them and then they stop moving

He felt it for the first time a few nights ago - I'm 22 weeks. He's very impatient and was annoyed, but one night she decided to roll over or something and he saw my entire belly move - so he sat down on the couch next to me and put his hand on my tummy while he watched TV - she eventually did another flip and he got so excited

I think DH Felt the kicks around 21 weeks... he caught it just at the right time, it was luck really. Now the movement is more noticeable and I will grab his hand really quickly and put it on my belly -- but sure enough,  stops moving altogether And then DH gives it like a minute before he gives up .. sure enough when he stops feeling my belly, he'll start moving again

This happens to us too! and then I'll say 'evan, I told you! Your so impatient!" and he'll say "beth, am I supposed to keep my hand on your belly all night?" YES!!! lol.

I felt them around 17 weeks and DH started to feel them around 20 weeks. I am at 26 weeks now, and the baby kicks so hard that I can actually see my belly move!
The one thing that I have found is that when people want to feel the baby kick, they have a tendancy to push down on my belly (not hard, but definite pressure) and then they can't feel it. When they rest their hand really lightly (almost like I can't feel it) then then can feel the kicks more.
P.S. DH usually has luck right as we get into bed for the night.

DH still hasn't felt them either at 24 weeks. He can see it though. I said it's because I have so much extra cushion to begin with.
It's really because once DH puts his hand there, little Stevie stops moving

Im 22 weeks and Dh hasn't felt them either.. I also attribute it to the extra cushioning..

This is what happened with me. I would BEG the baby to just let daddy feel him kick...sure enough, one day BAM BAM BAM he kicked a few times...but then it was a few more days till he let him feel it again, lol! Already playing games...

I was so happy for him...he was so excited, he called his mom and his best friend to BRAG about how he finally felt them kick!
