Nervous today...(long)

I am 8weeks today - and the m/c was at exactly 8w as well.

I've been SO paranoid today, examining every symptom, upset that the m/s is not too bad today etc...We even went clothes shopping and I kept thinking I didn't want to get anything b/c I might not be PG for long...this is too negative, especially for me as I'm usually rational about this stuff.

Anyone have the same thing when getting PG after a m/c?

Sono is this week - now I understand why! A good sono will help take the edge off!

Thanks for letting me vent! Chat Icon

BTW - about that post about ppl staring - in the maternity store ppl were staring at me probably b/c I don't look PG. But I have small knockers and a tiny waist so please don't judge me! I'm soo uncomfortable as it is!

I think every woman who has had a M/C is more cautious especially around the time of her first miss. I know I tried not to even think about this pregnancy until after I passed the twelve week mark, the point I lost my first baby.

I totally agree with this.. I don't think you can ever relax about a PG once you've experienced a loss, you just are consumed with that worry. Until you see a strong heartbeat and have your first sono, then you can begin to feel comfortable with things being ok

I'm sure everything is going to be perfect with your little bean .. hang in there and lots of luckChat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: Nervous today...(long)

We already saw a stong HB with this one and the baby looks great so far.

However, we saw a HB with the last one the day before the m/c Chat Icon

The docs are on top of everything...

Hang in there. I have never had a m/c, however, I was afraid in the beginning to even think about having a baby because of the chance that I might lose the pregnancy, so I can't even imagine what you must be feeling. Hang in there. Hopefully the sono will help this weekChat Icon

Re: Nervous today...(long)

i was the same way everytime i passed the time that i m/c it was a big step for me. i m/c twice once at 6 weeks once at 8 weeks so with this pregnacy at 6 weeks the day before my sono to check for hb i started to spot, actully i was one little brown spot, but given my history i flipped out,i was sureit was another m/c but luckily it wsnt. try to stay calm. im sure you are fine.
