Ya know, it doesn't seem THAT bad when you dole it out a bit at a time, but when you add it all up...Chat Icon

ETA- and I haven't even done the mileage yet!

If your out of pocket medical bills exceed 7.5% of your adjusted gross income, you can use them for a deduction.

This will tell you more...

Wow, and all you did was one IUI?

Wow, thanks!

Considering we've already spent $3500 this year, I'm thinking we'll hit that for 2006! Chat Icon

Re: Did anyone tally up their medical bills for taxes yet?

Yeah tell me about it -- thanks for the reminder tho!! This just went out..

Dear M....:

Hope you had a very nice vacation.

We spoke about 2 weeks ago now regarding reimbursement of our payment towards IVF which we paid in full, over $13,000, back in December. To date we have not received said reimbursement. I am not sure what the delay is but I must insist as this is a large sum and we do need to have it returned to us without further delay. Can you please see that this is expedited? We discussed paying for services as we do them since we are not sure if we will need to do IVF, and also our insurance SHOULD be paying for most of the services mentioned in the price list.

Please advise soonest.

Thank you,

if you paid with a cc you should call the company and let them know you are disouting the charges. This way they will not be charging you interest.

Just call them and tell them you want a printout of everything you have paid in 2005. I did it with Kreiner and Cornell.
