does teething cause gas?
Sidney is getting slammed with 6 teeth poking thru at the same time  And the past 3 days she has been tooting like you wouldn't believe. She is waking at night and I keep thinking it is because her teeth hurt but then she starts blasting off  . I can't seem to think of anything that I have eaten (I BF) or that she has eaten that could cause so much gas. And when I am feeding her she kicks her legs and wiggles around - poor thing. Could it be the teething?????

I just got back from upstate and noticed nobody responded 
Am I crazy to think that teething and gas are related??

I'm not certain. It's a possibility. I know it can cause diarrhea because of swallowing extra saliva.
