pack in play
Hi, I was just wondering, does it really matter if the pack n play nattress pad is all the way up or down when a newborn ( 10 weeks old) is sleeping in it? My babysitter says she wants it down and I dont know if that is safe or not.

I've had the pack n play all the way to the bottom since the very beginning.

I think it's a matter of preference. I had the mattress on the bassinet level until Nate started to try to sit up.

Its just harder on the caretakers back to pick the baby up from the bottom, but if she's willing to bend I don't see a safety risk for the baby...
