How do you go about getting a private room at Winthrop?
I want one really bad anyone know how you go about this and the cost?

I delivered my son a year ago and it was $220 a night. It is first come first serve and I told them I wanted it as soon as I arrived when i was in labor.
Luckily it was available and I think it was totally worth it!!

220.00 a night wow for some reason I thought it was 150.00 i still think it is worth it...i hope i can get one.

Unless there is a medical reason that you need a private room you have to pay out of pocket.

Just make sure you request it when you first sign in at admitting and then have your L&D nurse call so they can hold the room for you. No insurance doesn't cover it and I believe it is still $220 a night.

I had a private room when Andrew was born in May 2004 and it was money well spent ($200 per night). We had to request it when we checked in and one wasn't available so we got one the next night. It was the best decision for me.
