LED Christmas Lights?
Does anyone have them and are they better than regular lights. They say they get 88% better electric usage than regular lights and they color is brighter.

they just showed these on a segment on GMA this past week-- I bet if you go on ABC's web site you'll be able to find info about them.

We got them last year. They are good - different color than the other lights. Also, if you use them outside and it snows, the lights will not melt the snow because they don't get hot. I like them for the tree for that very reason. They are supposed to last a very long time - we'll see.

I heard LIPA is giving a 5 dollar discount for every set you buy...
The lady at kmart was telling me but I havent looked up the information about it.

my DH just checked LIPA's site and it advertised a $2 discount per set. Still better than nothing! We are going to get these this year. Hope they are worth all the hype!

They are so much brighter and DH says there isnt a filament inside so they can last for YEARS! Target had this chart in the lighting dept. showing the cost comparison.
