Sliding Doors
I have sliding doors in my kitchen and don't really care too much for vertical blinds. Does anyone have any ideas that I can put up besides verticals? BTW...I have a window right next to the sliding doors.
Your ideas and suggestions are greatly appreciated!
TIA

Re: Sliding Doors
How about wooden blinds, or a curtain in the middle.

Re: Sliding Doors
I hate vertical blinds as well. We have sliders in our living room. We don't use them so I just put curtains over them.

Re: Sliding Doors
Thanks for sharing your picture. I was thinking curtains but not sure if that would look good in the kitchen.

Re: Sliding Doors
I have curtains/draps too but my sliders are in a family room. What about a more sheer curtain for the kitchen?

Re: Sliding Doors
I have lacy sheer long curtains over my sliding doors. My house is very old, so it goes with the style (I think). Somthing like these, but without the scarf valance. I used three panels and sewed them together. Image Attachment(s):

That's what I was thinking...not sure either that or Roman shades.
Thanks again ladies
