For us it was on Thursday night...Noah quite clearly said...Oooooooh Yeaaaaaaaahhhhhh.

I am looking for association, too. Katie has been saying dada for ages.
The other day she was holding her bottle, said "ba ba" and popped it in her mouth. So cute!

Miranda has been saying mama, dada, daddy, etc but I guess I am having a hard time as counting it as her first words because I don't know if she really knows what she's saying although in her mind she probably does. I think she's being doing this for about a couple of months now.

Brianna has been saying dada and mama and nana for a couple of weeks she doesn't know whats shes saying I HOPE because when she says mama she is usually whining!! She'll be 7 months on the 28th

jacob has been saying mama for a week now, and although i dont know if he knows to associate it with me, i find it funny that every time he poops he calls MAMA.. MAMA... MAMA... until i change him.. hmmmmmmmmm??????? he is 7 months next week

Our DS (who's 2 months on Mon) clearly said "WOW" today... and when we reacted, he kept trying to say it again... it was the most adorable thing!

dada, mimmy, and baby at about 8 months never in the same week. He alternates the words..one day it is a dada day and another is mimmy. At nine months he cried and looked at me and said "mimmy"
Baby at 10 months when he looks in the mirror.

he said mama at about 5.5 monts( but not sure if he associated it) Now at one yr he says mama, dada, baba, hello on, duck and tries to say doggie. Helllo I consider to be his first word other than mom and dad be cause he actually picked up a phone and said hello into it.
