that if you dont bd every other day (or he masturbates) that the sperm starts to die. So, in essence if you dont bd for a week and then bd there is no chance of getting pregnant because the sperm is dead.
I thought I read this in the new Conceive magazine I am getting, but cant find the magazine.
Did any of you hear this?

It is best to keep his supply of sperm, new and fresh. It's one of the reasons when they do a semen analysis...they don't want the man to refrain for too long ( I believe more than 5 days)....because that would lower the results.
The more motile sperm at once is always better. Sperm swim in a straight line and when there is a bunch of dead sperm...it gets too chaotic for them to do their 'march'. lol

Yes I read something about this is my latest textbook from Resolve -- it takes 3 months for the new sperm to get in place. Also yes, that the sperm should be kept moving and fresh...! So good news for him, huh? They have it so easy!

yes, we have a male factor problem. While you will read in this case you should BD every other day. When I was doing IUIs two days in a row, the second day the count was always higher. And on the first day if he had been abstinent 2 days it was better than if he was abstinent 7. Go figure?
