Same here.
Hard to see from this pic but it was just a cotton black sleeveless dress and I wore a black sweater since it was December.

I actually found a cute dress at Ann Talor Loft and I normally don't shop there...I was desperate. I didn't want to wear pant like I always do although that would have been totally fine...I just wanted to dress up a little.
It's on my christening pics thread if you wanna check it out....I wore a white sweater over it and tan heels.

Pantsuit that also came with an optional skirt. I wanted to wear the pants, Dh begged me to wear the skirt so I did.

You can definitely wear pants.
Since it was mid-May - I wanted a springy casual dress. I wore a bright pink floral flowy dress.
