Can I brag about Emma, Jeremy & Saf-T-Swim?

Emma has been taking swimming lessons at Saf T Swim since she was 14 months, she is now a little over 4 years. The other day at swimming lessons my little girl stood on the edge of the pool, jumped in, swam to her instructor about 8 feet away, swam back to the wall and climbed out.

Jeremy started swimming at 3 months with the same instructor. He is 18 months now and with swimmies on in the water you can let him swim around the pool. He knows to kick his feet, hold his head up, jump into the pool, (and tested very recently) that if he falls in to turn around and kick for the wall, loves to put his face in the water and knows how to hold his breath and not get water in his nose.

I seriously think that starting them earlier is better, Jeremy has never developed the fear of the water that Emma did.

Saf-T-Swim and Brielle in the Riverhead location is awesome!!!

That is awesome!

I've been thinking about looking for swimming lessons for Nate. I thought he was too young, but he's now the same age as when Emma started.

We bring Emily in the pool all the time and she loves it. She sits in her float and kicks her legs and will kick until she gets to us when we go a bit away from her and she also goes under the water just fine.

I just wonder if it is enough to go in grandpa's pool every summer or if I should sign her up for lessons.

That's great. I want to sign up Ryan. I thought he was too young so I was going to wait till Dec. when he will be 18 months.

Is it expensive?

I was at my friends house yesterday and her daughter and niece both go and they are 6 and 5. I couldn't believe how great they were in the pool. One of our very good friends is high up in Saf-T-Swim and he keeps asking me when I am bringing Damien in. My DH and I were always like Damien does great in the water he doesn't need lessons but after seeing the girls in the water I have changed my mind and I plan on taking him.

I signed the kids up for 10 6 week sessions. It is the cheapest per session that way. I pay $130 or so every 6 weeks. I split the package between the two kids.

I want to start Hayley in the winter/spring so she will be ready for next summer. She loves the pool!

We just started classes at the Westbury location as well in early July. I love the program and how great the instructors are with the kids. DS was just turning 11 months when he began to take lessons and has taken to it very well!

Great to know they do such a good job there. I would like to get a pool in a couple of years, but I would be so worried if Marron couldn't swim.
