People are now saying inappropriate things to me!
The ones I've heard in the past few days are:
1) I think you're having a girl, because you got big all over!!
2) You look kind of dike-ish. It must be a girl.
3) You really haven't gotten that big. (This sounds like it should be a compliment, but I had to say to myself as I looked in the mirror later -- YOU MEAN I WAS THIS BIG BEFORE???)
I know they aren't trying to be hurtful, it's just kind of unbelievable what they think is okay to say to a PG lady.

It's awful, people just don't think before they open their mouths!
My mom said she knew I was having a girl since I was 7 weeks pg, because my butt and hips were spreading and my face was breaking out
Ya thanks mom!
I just had the comcast tech say to me not 5 mins ago, "What happened? You got big!, are you pg?"

it's so funny, these comments don't bother me at all!
i used to get "nice hair day", "you look pale", "did you get dressed in the dark?" all the time prior to getting pregnant. i didn't find them rude, i find them true  ! one does not look 100% all of the time...
now that i am pregnant i know i have rounded out, but that is to be expected! if someone wants to comment on it, in my case they are speaking the truth  .

OMG people can be SO rude  I guess they feel they just have to say something just to hear themselves talk  I must say though, people who know me know better NOT to say anything rude to me  As they will get it right back up their, lol...
DH and the family have been nothing but saying nice things about my growing belly and they are use to seeing a tiny gal but now seeing a small gal with a beach ball attatched  I am actually the one saying things like look at my beach belly, lifting up my shirt to show them, etc

That is the absolute worse. People say the dumbest and most stupidest things! I always try to have a smart *** remark to say in return.

NO! It's good! I can't wait for people to say things like that to me. My husband and I have been trying for 3 years to get pregnant. I can't wait for morning sickness and getting big and fat with a baby growing inside me and being tired and the sore boobs.
I'm sorry though if someone offended you. Just brush it off. I think people think that they are trying to be nice and don't realize how awful they sound!
