Sometimes I do if it's something that affects me personally, like if my performance or something is called into question. Regular annoyances I usually shake off by the time I get home.

I wish I could leave it at work, but I take things so personally, so it almost always follows me home. I wish I could separate the two, but it's hard.
ETA: the hard part about leaving it at work is that my bad days are usually because someone attacked me personally. It seems that when you work in a small environment, people get TOO comfortable and say whatever the hell they feel like to you.

here and there, i leave my problems at work, but if work put me in a bad mood i have a hard time getting suddenly happy when i get home....which totally sux, cuz life is too short for me to think about this $hithole when i get home.

i sometimes bring work related problems home but never bring home related problems to work. regardless of what happens at home (pos or neg) i keep it at home. i think it is normal though to vent about work related problems at home.

Ditto! The long commute home, reading a book helps immendely though. When I used to work 5 blocks from my house, I was never able to really shake the bad feelings ... now that it takes me 50 minutes to an hour by bus to get home I'm able to read, relax and let go ...

I leave that sheit here. Forget it...DH takes it home with him, so if we both did, we'd be divorced already.
ETS: It takes me a little over an hour to get home, so I think that helps me clear my mind.

I feel the same way, last week I was in a mood b/c of work, but I tell myself to get beyond it, but I can't sometimes, and life is too short, but actually knowing all this, and actually living it is not so easy sometimes.

I try and leave it at work for the most part. But I'm only human and once and awhile it carries home with me. If I know that it's going to be bad I make sure to stop off before I go home (go shopping, or run errands, etc.).

I've gotten much better with this. I take my frustrations of the day out on the other drivers on the car ride home, cursing at them , making fun of them and yelling at them in my car. So if ya see some crazy gal talking to herself while driving, thats me getting everything out before I get home!!

My thoughts exactly. My entire office is 10 people and I tend to take things to heart and then dwell on them for days.
Sometimes I do leave what happens at work stay at work, but it is so hard.
