Spinoff on Brushing Cats..Nail Clipping....
How often do you clip? I am embarrassed to say we have had her a year and a 1/2 and we have only done it once . She is just such a terror about it. She was mistreated and is really skittish so we have to literally hold her down and she freaks out and bites. I can't even pick her up nevermind anything else....and we are supposed to brush her teeth too...Forget That!
As long as you do not manhandle her she is super sweet...are we really doing wrong by not forcibly cutting her nails??

I clip their nails about once or twice a month. Eddie tolerates it, Lydia can be a little skittish. My DH holds her, and it soothes her. Or I try to catch her while she is sleeping, and she hardly notices.

Foxy and Fascinus never need their nails clipped- they run around on the gravel all the time & they stay trim. Pyxie needs them trimmed about every 12 weeks or so, and Loki about once a month.
