thats annoying
In our search for a car we actually looked at a truck that is located just a few blocks away
The owner is a 21yr old guy......so DH asked him if he would let my mechanic BIL look at the truck and he met my DH and BIL up at his shop
Well BIL found like $500 worth of parts it needs and the work it needs nmy BIL would need to do
so I was like no way so we were nice and told the kid we werent gonna buy it
he just emailed us
thanks for wasting my time and patience
what did we do wrong? we couldve left him hanging and never called him.....why are people like that

I even felt bad for him that we didnt buy it.....(I know I am such a weenie)
I was telling DH we should ask around if anyone was looking to buy his truck DH thinks I am such a softy

I just dealt with an annoying person too - about moving. It was through a friend I knew but this guy never contacted me himself but expected me to call him. I waited until the day before I moved to call and tell him I was passing on his offer and went with a company that took the time to contact me to see what my needs were.

I probably would write him back - asking how you did that - that is the whole deal with buying a car. You need your mechanic to look at it. What an idiot!!
