Pants and sweaters that I paid a lot of $ for I mostly dry clean.

I dry clean a LOT... It gets sooooo $$$, but I wear a lot of suits for work and basically I am too lazy to iron.
ETA: My dry cleaner absolutely loves me. Every time I walk in there it is like that Seinfeld episode at the Chinese restaurant where a certain person is seated first and they say "ohhhh, mr. smith, very good customer".  !!!!

Dry clean almost everything...even jeans!!
Undergarmets, jammies, and workout stuff are my only washables.

If it says Dry Clean, then it goes to the cleaners.
I don't hand wash much. But I line dry a LOT of stuff that goes in the washer.
Sweaters are all pretty much dry cleaned.

before we were married i used to dry clean everything but now that we have so many more expenses i hand wash. looking back, i used to spend about $50/week on dry cleaning!!!

Me too. I hate hand washing so mostly it goes in under the gentle cycle. (There's just a small handful wool things I wouldn't do that to.)
I've even been throwing around the idea of trying my wedding dress (yes, it's over 3 1/2 years and still not clean ) At this point, I figure what's the worst that can happen? I'll ruin it and won't be able to wear it again - oh well.

I dry clean everything that says dry clean only. I also dry clean all of my button down shirts that I wear for work even though they can go in the washing machine. If I try to wash them, they get wrinkled and I can't iron out all of the wrinkles. I rarely hand wash anything.
