Grrrrr....
I cant believe me not changing my last name on my SS card has come to bite me in the butt!
I explained a few weeks ago...I enrolled in school, and filled out the financial aid forms (I have to be denied to get a student loan) Well.... I got papers back, basically saying Im not who I say I am, according to my SS#
So I pack up the baby, and off to SS I go... I change my name and get the new card w/ in a week.... I then resubmitt the Fafsa papers (and lay out the 1st pymnt to school..hoping that by the time the 2nd one is due...everything will be taken care of)
Well.... I get another letter in the mail today..saying Im still not who I say I am  I know SS has it right...I have a freakin card with my married name on it! 
So basically if this dosent clear itself up by the 30th...I wont be back in school this spring... I might just be able to take one class... cuz thats all I can lay out myself, right now!
Im so pizzed...why is everything working against me???
OOOOO and to top it off... I went to the bank yesterday with Dh to open a CD... well... Ive changed my name with them twice... when she gives me the paper to sign...its in my maiden name... Apparently... SS is telling them the same schpeel.....
Tomorrow...Im calling, and raising all H E LL

i was going to say teh same thing. Also- shouldnt showing them your marriage license be able to help it???

Its not the school....its the state, and SS (I guess thats who takes care of Federal aid)

I could show the school all I want....there not the ones giving me a hard time! I go by my married name in their computer...
