Need Ideas for a Date Night
Hey guys-- looking for some ideas for a date night for me and DH for this friday-- besides doing the obvious dinner-- was wondering if anyone had any cute ideas of things to do..
Thanks!

We often go walking on the boardwalk at Jones Beach.
Miniature golf could be fun.

Sorry - didn't realize that.
How about a picnic on the beach? Or a park?

Re: Need Ideas for a Date Night
I second advenutreland.
Or how about a day at the aquaraium followed by a walk on the boardwalk or some rides at Coney Island?
FH and I had a great date at the hall fo science a few weeks ago. We were making out the big kaleidescope..LOL and we had a lot of fun making huge bubbles. It was fun to be a kid again.
A picnic at the botanical gardens?
Or a stroll through the butterfly house at the bronx Zoo?
( you can tell I'm both a city person and a nerd!)
How about checking out a neat theatrical or arts event? I can point you to some unique stuff, or you can just see what's available at the TKTS booth.

I was thinking maybe a picnic with a bottle of wine-- we live in Hoboken and there is a big grassy area that is right on the river-- with straight views of Manhattan-- but I have no idea if it's lit at night-- but I guess if we do dinner- it may still be light out.

Re: Need Ideas for a Date Night
DH and I used to go indoor rock climbing - it's a LOT of fun and something not contingent on the weather. Edited to add: when you go, they give you a minicourse on how to "belay" for each other with the rope. So you are supporting him during his climb, and he is supporting you during yours.
I am not that athletic - I can run and that's about it - so if I can do it, anyone can!
I am sure there is a place in your area if you look online. Good luck w/ the date night!!!
