invites for shower
Can't ask on LIW cause my best friend is on that site! How soon before a shower do you send out invites? Is 8 weeks too much? Is that more for a wedding? What is the right thing to do...it is a summer shower, so I know people are busy.

I know for my shower, my MOH sent out the invitiations 6 weeks before the shower. I don't think eight weeks is too long, it is the summer and people do book vacations and get busy.. giving people a lot of notice is always a good thing in my opinion...

I would say 8 weeks is ok especailly b/c its in the summer but then again i ALWAYS do things early
