OMG is mine anal. It used to terrorize me, he was a lunatic about it, but we now meet somewhere towards the middle. More to his end because I love a clean house, and I'm not complaining I'd rather anal then the other, but he really is nutty about cleaning.

Mine puts his laundry in the hamper and puts his clothes away, but as for straightening the couch pillows or cleaning out the dishwasher without being told - no way! It just never registers EVER!

DH seriously thinks their is fairies that magically clean up after him. It drives me insane, especially when he is watching tv at night and can't understand why i'm not hanging out with him.

my DH is so messy I am going to lose my mind
1 example-he drops ice pop wrapers on the floor next to the garbage
I had to increase the cleaning lady to every week from every 2 weeks b/c I was spending my whole life cleaning
if I ask him to pick up- he says leave it for her
I can't believe she hasn't quit

DH is so messy!
BUT after only 7 months of marriage and living together, he's learning to pick up more after himself.
However, he does think that we bought a self cleaning house. He looks at me like I'm crazy when I ask if he's going to wash the pots and pans after he uses them. the standard answer is "don't they clean themselves? They always seem to get clean after I use them"

Slightly messy but not dirty, if that makes sense. He's good about wiping down counters and not letting dishes sit in the sink. I am the messy one but I've been a bad influence. But I'm trying!

He is one messy guy!!! He is starting to learn though, only after 3 months of marriage. He will help with the dishes at night, but when it comes to clothes & making the bed!!! He is out the door so fast...He even uses our banister as a clothes hanger!!! It drives me insane!!!

My DH does all the cleaning. I pitch in, but I really got lucky. He is so my more meticulous about cleaning then I am.

or sometimes he gets on his little fits where he HAS to clean everything or HAS To fix the landscpaing....thne thats all he does ...

I see my DH is in the majority of DHs here... the scary part is, for example, if I didnt clean the bathroom, I dont if he'd notice it needs cleaning for a long time. I suppose its better than him noticing it but just expecting me to do it but it's still annoying. He's willing to do stuff but he says he needs a list. Then of course he doesnt do the efficient job I would do so I end up doing it myself. I think the lack of efficiency is a trick of many men from way back. I remember my brother acquiring this skill many years ago.

he's not dirty just sometimes lazy when it comes to indoor housework, outdoor work, he's great. I always tease him by saying you don't live in a hotel..he'll bring drinks and snacks to bed and then the next morning there's rappers and empty containers all over the floor...sometimes i leave them there to see how long they sit...sometimes they sit too long
