Baby movement inconsistent?

I am about 23 weeks, it's starting to concern me is that I haven't felt my little girl that much in the last 2 days. I still have my doppler, so that's been helping settle me, but I can't help but worry.

Are fetal movements still inconsistent this early on?

It's not like I feel her all day/night long she just seems very lazy these past 2 days.

Re: Baby movement inconsistent?

it's very possible to be inconsistent....my baby has always been inconsistent with her movements and even tends to be on the lazy side. It'll take her 30 minutes to just get 10 movements!!!

As long as the "kick counts" are consistent (whenever you count, it takes about the same time every day) you should be fine.

It's if you don't feel ANY movement the dr is concerned

Re: Baby movement inconsistent?

She was never really very active, I only usally feel her a couple times throughout the day. I figured since DH and I ran around all day yesterday, and today I slept most of the day, maybe she has been sleeping. I am just starting to get worried

Re: Baby movement inconsistent?

This baby isn't really that active either. I would only feel a little bit when I would go to bed at night. Only the last 3 days I have started to feel movement during the day and I am 30 weeks.
I had mentioned this to my dr at my last visit and he said its because I am so busy during the day, I don't have time to sit and think about it.

Re: Baby movement inconsistent?

There are days that I feel the baby more than others - i believe the babys movements are always insconsistent since we move around and about so much=we sometimes don't feel or notice the movements as much. Have you been on your feet these past couple days?

I usually feel the baby rocking around when im sitting, eating or drinking a juice etc....
trying relaxing, sit down and drink something - im sure she will start knocking away

I think this started happening to me around the same time. I was also worried, but a few days went by and I started feeling my baby boy like I did before. I am sure you will feel the baby like you did before Chat Icon You are lucky you have a doppler, I didn't...so you can imagine how worried I was.

Actually I have been more on my feet the last couple days than usual. Yesterday DH were out running errands and shopping all day, and also this morning we did alot of running around before the snow got bad up here. I fell asleep around 2:30 and slept a good 3 hrs.

Could all the running around the last 2 days made her lazy? New years day i didn't do much either, just hung out at my brothers and she was very laid back too.
