wierd feeling ...down there
I want to relate it to pressure... but its very similar to what it feels like when the krank your open (sorry if TMI) when you get a pap smear...
Is this normal..???? It just started happening a little while ago... its very low...and literally feels as if someone is spearding me apart???

Re: wierd feeling ...down there
Sometimes I feel as if I fell on a boys bicycle. I think it's the baby's head in place. Ahhh, these lovely moments

Re: wierd feeling ...down there
I have had this for the last 3 weeks... When I went to the doctor they said ...It is very normal. The baby is in place. They said to get used to it because it only gets worse....
great, that is not what I want to hear....

Re: wierd feeling ...down there
I'm having that big time, and i felt stupid asking my doctor about it, cuz i have all these stupid names for the "down there" area and feel weird using the real name, but he'd laugh if i used my stupid names...
however, my lamaze instructor mentioned it last week, saying it's common, almost all women have it already at around 8 months, and if you don't have it already you'll have it soon. she called it round ligament pain, and she said it can get better by doing pelvic tilts and kegels, because it's the muscles stretching and strengthening to prepare themselves for labor, and also sometimes pressure from the baby. she said the exercises will strengthen the muscles so they aren't weak and they don't hurt as much, and the pelvic tilts can also help to shift the baby's position a little if it's putting too much pressure in that area, because it kind of rocks the baby which gets it moving. pelvic tilts are supposed to be good for also getting baby into position for labor.
just passing on what she told me!
