Stupid Garage Sale Question
My sister and I want to have a garage sale this summer. I have never done this before nor have I really been to any that I can remember. Do people sell used clothing (but still nice obviously) at garage sales? I have some really nice sweaters and other things that don't fit me anymore and I am wondering if I could sell them. Is that really gross? Thanks.

You could try. I've seen some clothes for sale at garage sales, if it's in new or near-new condition, people might bite.

I think most people will buy them. I usually just donate all my stuff to charity because I can't deal with the people that haggle - they want a 50 cent shirt for 25 cents (I'm in Queens so maybe LI is different  )

if it's a name brand, then yes, it might sell. If it's a name brand, you might also be able to sell it on Ebay.
ETA: I have sold used GAP, J Crew, Ralph Lauren stuff on Ebay

Thanks. I think I will so through it and decide what to do. I could use extra cash right now but maybe I will just donate it all to Good Will or something.

If you cannot sell it at the garage sale then call big brother to pick it up. I have seen people buy clothing at garage sales though.
