Dream job...(speaking of dessert...)

My DH is watching The History of Ice Cream on the History CHannel and they just had a guy who is an offical ice cream tester for Edys/Dreyers/Breyers Ice cream...

He taste tests 120 ice creams a day -- one spoonfull each, all made the day before.

I don't htink I would want that job because I would end up hating ice cream!

My sister used to work in Carvel and she brought home some kind of ice cream ever day... a sundae, milkshake, whatever. One day she fainted from eating so much ice cream and nothing else because she messed up her blood-sugar levels. She had to go for testing and drink a really sugary drink that made her feel sick... so now she doesn't eat ice cream anymoreChat Icon

OMG I don't know what I would do if I couldn't eat ice cream!! I definately would not want to work in a place like Friendlys! I would probably be double my size!

She probably had to go for diabetes testing...that sounds like the glucose drink that they give you to test for diabetes when you are pregnant....

I've never worked in a food place -- thank god! It would not be good at ALL!

OMG that is horrible!!!!!

My sister used to work at Baskin Robbins and one day I went to work with her(I was young) and she made me taste everything on the menu and then I picked all the brownies out of the german chocolate cake!
