when u go to a real estate agent, who suppose to drive to the apt., the agent or the rentee

When we looked for apartments, we followed the agent. When we looked for houses, the agent drove.

its been different by agents, but i usually try to meet them there. I hate being in random people's cars, and (especially if we were going to see a few places)... the car ride alone gave me and DH a chance to spill our thoughts on what we had just seen

it had depended on where the house is for me.
If it is closer to me i just meet at the house. But i have had my real estate agent drive me to others

As an agent...
you can meet the agent at the house
you can meet the agent at the office and either follow or drive w/ the agent.
it all depends on what works for you/them and what you feel comfortable with.

When I looked, the agent drove frequently it seemed easier since I was looking in areas where parking was somewhat difficult.

We have done both, meaning the agent drove us and we have driven ourselves. I almost preferred the agent driving cause then you can tell how much they know about the area. Nothing worse than an agent who doesn't know where they are showing you. They are supposed to be the expert!
