As much as I really don't want to discuss work right now, I need to vent...
I have very high professional standards for myself, and while I do not expect everyone else to have the same standards for themself that I do, I do expect that in a place of employment, people DO THEIR JOBS. So why is it that a good 80% of the people I work with either DON'T do their job or do it so halfassed that it's not even worth them doing it? I'm just so fed up with it. And the best part is, that these people do not get penalized at work, yet I get grief for doing my job because then it means everyone else might have to get off their lazy azz and do theirs, too! And the work week ends LAST PERIOD on Friday, NOT four periods before last period.

I hear ya too, and today, I finally said something.
I understand I am the teacher of the room, but, honestly my coworkers do need to help out a little. My asst. does whatever she dam pleases, and yes it aggravates me! Before I left today, I said "And (name) please clean the room good, so we have a nice fresh room to start in on Tues"..
I was soo annoyed.
Sorry you are going thru this! Just sit back, relax, and enjoy the long weekend!!
