Getting a fence!!
I'm so excited! We're getting a fence on Friday!! It's the first thing we are doing to "our" house! Hopefully by the end of the week, we will officially own DH parents house! All the paperwork is in motion, just waiting to close!!

Kinda sad huh?!!!! But I am happy for simple things!!! Imagine when I get siding & windows!!! I'll be running naked through the streets!!
Scott....we are getting White Vinyl from Amendolas
ETA that the images & names are not Amendolas....

Our neighbor to the left picked the style & he already ordered it before we decided to...so we went with the same....and I want to do something nice for them....he says he doesn't want us to split the cost of that side....I feel bad though...but he seems to be insisting

Good for you! A new fence was one of our first things too. I know you already have it set for Fri but did you get other quotes? I only ask b/c we checked out Amendolas when we did ours and their quote was over $1000 more than Rose fence.

I totally agree with this saying!
We had a fence out in a few weeks ago, and let me tell u it makes a world of difference... we had a brat next door , and I love children.... there was an exsiting fence, it was a corral fence, but we put up a wood wave fence and let me tell you, it has never been more quiet and peaceful in my yard. They used to play football on my yard and it would look trampled and no matter what we said they did not care... the parents did not care either. It was the best thing we could have done.

I just called up for fence quotes. Carl's came in the highest for the fence and railing and 7800. Rose's came in at 7500. Amendola's came in at 7200. I am hoping to get Amendola's down to 7K. It's annoying because the railing is pretty expensive compared to the fence because it is harder to install.

Try Natural beauty fence. They are in Wantagh on Sunrise Hgwy. We just used them and they were reasonable, a lot less then a lot of other quotes we got, home depot was double! There workers were very professional and very clean when they worked. HTH

Scott....luckily we only needed 15 panels total...like I mentioned, the one side is being done because my neighbor is doing the same fence. We will get gates later in the summer, hopefully after the windows & siding go in.
