locks of love
I am currently growing out my hair to donate to locks of love. I was wondering if any one has done this and has went through a salon that will cut the hair and style it? I remember a coworker of mine had her children donate and they went to a salon that cut and styled the hair for free. I went to the locks of love homepage but they state that they are no longer listing salons that do this. Does anyone know of a salon that participates in locks of love. I live in Massapequa but I will travel!! TIA!

Re: locks of love
I did this and I thought I saw that some of the Ulta salons would give you a free cut if you donated. I just went to my regular hairdresser and paid for the haircut. The free haircut wasn't worth it to me to possibly get a bad haircut.

Re: locks of love
I did this after my wedding and my salon knew but still charged me full price. I didn't mind though, it is a great cause.

Re: locks of love
I did this twice. I didn't even have enough hair (only 8 inches) but they took it and I got a post card in the mail thanking me.
I didn't go any place special, just my regular salon.

I would call your regular salon and check they participate. What a great cause!
