maybe you can help me with a weird period issue?

I thought you girls might know what is going on with my me since many of you have experience with GYN issues.
I got my period on July 2. It was normal. Then 22 days later I got it AGAIN..it lasted for 4 days. I knew something didn't seem right. I had some bad crapping (not super awful though) a day or two before I got it. Now today I got it AGAIN.
This is the 2nd time in a year this has happened. The first time I called the GYN and the nurse said that sometimes things throw off our schedules and to call if it happened the next month.
Any thoughts?

I would see your doctor a.s.a.p. Although Aunt Flow can be mysterious and visit often in one month, her frequent appearance can be a symptom of something more. I had similar problems and started what I like to call a "period diary." I would record when, how many times in a month and for how long I got my period. Keeping a record is a good tool when speaking with your doctor. Hope this helps!

so you got Af early and for 4 days but then it came back today and it just ended 3 days ago according to your scheduling right?

So it seems it was a week early. Was it heavy when it began? s not unusual for it to stop and start again, but I would see my OBGYN anyway.

Never heard of anything quite like that and I dont think its anything to worry about . Most people get "weird" months every now and then when they are otherwise perfectly normal in their cycles , but you could be low in Estrogen or something easily fixed.

I should have gotten it today, but not on July 22nd as well. So weird.
I actually thought that maybe I had a very early stage miscarriage.
It was heavy for 2 days then light for 2 before ending. Is that possible? I see my GYN on 8/9 for my annual so I will definately speak to her about this.

Definately see the Dr. It could be hormones but safe to check.
I have spotting before my period for a few months now. My GYN said next month if I spot again, we biopsy my uterus to be safe.
Abnormal bleeding has to be looked into.

have you just recently started taking any new meds? or got off the Pill?

For me, I recently got on Synthroid in February and not until two months ago, I began to have a normal cycle (21-28). This month I started on 7/4 and then again on 7/28. I freaked out that it was during the same month.

Either way, I would go in to see the doc.
