Where do you shop for maternity clothes?
I have hit Old Navy, H&M, Maternity Works and Pea in the Pod at Macys Heald Square and a the maternity stores in Roosevelt Field. Any other suggestions of where I can go? I am looking for stylish clothes that are not too expensive.

i liked jc penneys and actually scored some good stuff from kohls last week they had a 40-50% off sale, try the gap outlet in tanger i did very well there got sweaters for 6.99

I am a + size girl, so I got maternity stuff from the internet on Fashion Bug, Old Navy, and Lane Bryant. Don't know if that can help you. But their clothing is cheap and do carry size med, large, XL.

I found that the stuff I got at JC Penney's was the most comfy. I have stuff from old navy, Kohl's, and Motherhood

I bought most of my maternity clothes at Destination Maternity (on Rte 110), Old Navy, and believe it or not- online. I found some really great websites that have stylish maternity clothes. Price ranges varied.
I also bought a bunch of stuff from Victoria's Secret- I was pregnant in the Summer (2nd trimester) so I got a couple of those strapless tunic tops, I also bought some yoga tanks w/ those half-shirt wrap thingies (don't know technical name ). I just bought a size larger & they fit really well.
Have you tried going to regular stores & just trying on those empire-waist tops that are really popular now? They have them at inexpensive stores like Forever 21, etc...
Those are good in your 1st & 2nd trimesters.

Yes I do.
It's on the north side of Jericho Tpke. in the Woodbury Village shopping center (Ben's Deli, Lindt Chocolate, Laguna Grill).

The Mega Marshalls on Jericho in Syosset does actually carry maternity, my friend bought her maternity jeans there for $11!!!!!
The maternity section is waaaay small though. It seems to be hit or miss.

I like Motherhood and also check out JC Penneys. The one thing I learned is that you get what you pay for. I was buying the less expensive pants and it showed. It was frumpy looking and too big. It made me look sloppy. I spent a little more money and bought some of their more expensive jeans, and it makes a world of difference. So its definately worth paying a little more to look better than to skimp on things.

I have come to the conclusion that finding maternity clothes that are really nice is very hard. I have actually found a couple of nice things at destination maternity on 110 and also I shop a lot from the gap online. The gap stores in Queens have maternity clothes. I was just at the Forest Hills gap and they have a fairly good selection.

Everyone seems to have given an exhaustive list of places. the only other place I've discovered so far is a store called Maternity Works which seems to be some kind of outlet for Mimi, Motherhood, Maternite, etc. They have several locations, one at Tanger and another in the Source Mall in Nassau.
