Anyone w/ Optoline familar w/ moving an email account?
i am getting a new computer and donating the old. i am going to need to move my optonline email account (outlook express) from the old (delete it) to the new (add it) computer. can someone FM and tell me how to go about doing this? customer service was of course unhelpful. they said there "might" be some info on their site but i am unable to find it.

I have road runner, but to set up my email accounts on a different computer I copy the properties for the email accounts and enter them on the new computer.
They are located under Accounts on the Tools Menu.
You'll need the account names, passwords and the incoming & outgoing POP server names.

customer service said something like saving the info and then onto a zip and then transferring to the new. i don't want to just copy because i need to totally delete the account from the old but not loose any emails when transferred to the new computer.

after you saved your files (from the instructions - you don't have to zip/compress them) delete those files from the old computer.
wait until the new pc is set up before deleteing to ensure you have everything. follow the microsoft insturctions to import/export your settings

can anyone help me?
I have an account on optoline and i moved from my PC to another because i changed my homeplace for a while. I have a problem on remebering my link and i cannot enter my e-mail because of this. I remeber my email adress, my password, but without this adress i can't find the page where i can log in. is anyone who has an account on optoline and can tell me the link...?
