I think I am going to leave my car here at my garage in the city and take the LIRR home.

Then i'll take the LIRR back into work tomorrow... and since I have to DJ tomorrow night... then i'll drive home (at midnight when the traffic should be much easier).

I'm in FH, too... curious how your commute (roundtrip) went today? I stayed at home today, and am wondering what's in store for tomorrow.

TIA!

Re: Strike Spinoff: How are you getting home TONIGHT?

I left my office at 2pm and walked 27 blocks back to Penn (no cabs/cars available). Penn wasnt too bad at all at about 3pm. I found the entrance for my LIRR line and went right in. I waited about 10 minutes, my track was announced and I got a seat on the train.

We (me and "Wigglie") will NOT be going to work tomorrow if they are still striking.

I'm home now, watching the news and Penn is a DISASTER! I feel bad for anyone stuck there right now (which would have been me if I didn't leave early).

I was thinking of all of you and hoping that you left early. Watching the news and seeing Penn Station is a nightmare. Glad you got home ok Kathy Chat Icon
