Re: For those who flew with your baby's how old were they?

We flew to Florida when my son was 3 months old. Going down we had an early evening flight and there was no problem at all. He was great on the plane. He was in his car seat and stayed in it most of the flight. Coming back he stayed on my lap. He slept most of the time and when he was up, he was fine. The pressure never seemed to bother him.

I found the airport to be very accomadating as far as bring the stroller and car seat up to the gate for check in. This made it a lot easier getting around the airport with him. The only part that I did not like was when we had to go through security, he was sleeping in his car seat and I had to wake him.

Alex was 8 weeks old when we flew home from Ireland. It wasn't bad at all, he slept most of the time. He had his own seat so he was in the infant carrier most of the flight.

My son was only 8 weeks old and we went to Florida. It was great. he slept the entire time. Just make sure you pack your diaper bag with plenty of stuff should there be any delays. And be sure to give your baby a bottle right when you are taking off/landing. Other than that, your baby will (hopefully) sleep through most of the flight. Good luck

Re: For those who flew with your baby's how old were they?

I flew with Michael when he was about 3 1/2 months old (just the 2 of us).

He was great.
on the way there he would nurse and get up, nap and nurse. (no one next to us)

on the way back, we had a delay,
but luckily when we got on the plane he nursed to sleep and slept the whole way home
(also we were sitted next to the biggest guy on the plane).

best of luck!!!

We are flying again in april, Michael will be 8 months old I am more nervous now bc he is so much more active.

My daughter was almost 4 months. We flew jet blue and had no problems. We just fed her when we were taking off anf landing to help with her ears. She slept the entire flight. I was so worried but she was perfect.

Andrew was 7 months when we first flew with him, so he wasn't a real baby, but he was so good.

Bella was just 3 months when we flew to Florida...she slept pretty much the whole way there and the whole way home...

I did have nightmares of being "That" passenger, but whatever...the next flight we take might be disastrous...

He was 2 months when we flew to Rochester. It isn't a long flight but we were stuck on the runway for an hour and a halfChat Icon .
He was very good and slept most of the time.

I am going to Rochester again with him the beginning of May (he will be 8 months) BY MYSELF and I'm pretty nervous of how he will be Chat Icon .

I think the younger the better, they just sleepChat Icon
