Any Moms Up for a Holiday Get in Shape Challenge?
I am desperate to lose some weight by Christmas. My daughter is going to be a year old in 3 weeks and I am just miserable with myself.
I need to get into a healthy eating, portion control and exercising groove but I need someone to check in with so I thought I would start a challenge thread.
We could all set a goal to meet between now and New Years. Also I thought if anyone wanted to maybe we could buddy up into pairs or smaller groups for support and check ins. I know a lot of us moms are on myspace or have IM so we could buddy up and support each other that way as well.
Anyone interested?

I am!!! I was looking at old pics of myself and I was soo skinny. I started my diet today. I have at least 20 pounds to lose.

OK this will be hardcore boot camp! No excueses ladies. We have to post every day how we did the day before, whatever your goal is whether its a specific diet, exercise, eating healthy or all of the about.
Tomorrow morning I will start a thread where we all need to post what our goal is between now and 12/31/06.
Tomorrow night I will make a list of all who signed up for the challenge and what their goal is.
We will have a daily check in. If we have enough people sign up I'll buddy moms up in pairs so that we each have one person to support us on our journey. Then we can exchange email, IM's, or myspace comments to encourage our buddies along the way.

Be proud of yourselves ladies. You are taking that first step! That first step usually sucks and is the hardest. Make sure that you keep your head up and give yourself credit when credit is due!
If nothing else, know that I am proud of you!

I would love to.I also need some diet discipline. I want to join Curves or some other gym. These bingo arms are just so gross. And lets not forget the giant arse & belly!
