Administrative Professionals Day-Vent
This is actually pretty funny.
As an assistant yesterday I got a lovely arrangement of flowers from my bosses. They were beautiful and I love them.
An assistant who sits next to me also got some flowers from one of her bosses and it was beautiful as well but much smaller.
Well the people who sent her the flowers looked at mine and looked at what her florist delivered to her assistant and called them and ordered a bigger arrangement!
So just now, a new arrangement came, the florist took back the old ones from yesterday.
Funny thing is, she's out sick today and will be out tomorrow too. So these beautiful brand new flowers will sit on her desk and whither until Monday.
Is it a freakin competition? Lst year I got a smaller arrangement and it was beautiful, but I didn't care if someone got a bigger one...
I just told my boss that and she thought it was very bizarre!

That is REALLY weird. 
BUT-all the admins here get the same size flowers. Go figure.
