When houses sell that are advertised on mlsli.com
Do they take them off the website??
Im just curious. Ive been looking at this house, and wondering why it hasnt sold. Its way out of my price range, but maybe it has sold and they just havent taken it off yet.

I think they do, but it must be a very slow process. I have called on a bunch of houses that were sold and still on there.

they may still show up while in contract - its up to the realtor to update the listing and pull it when appropriate.

Yup a bunch are in contract and some have been sold....takes them a while to take them off sometimes

I heard that sometimes the realtors lag on marking them as sold or under contract with MLS so they will get more calls - and when they have you on the phone they can say "Oh, that one is under contract, BUT I know of this other house...." Where if it wasn't on the site at all, then you would not have called.

All you gotta do is email the realtor and ask if it is still available. What town is it in, I may be able to find out for you.

I think sometimes it depends whether the realtor takes it off or not. Friends of ours bought a house and I think it was up for two-three weeks after their offer was accepted.
