Quick question about when to start my clomid...
(Sorry if tmi) I had very light spotting yesterday, actually it was almost impossible to detect, this morning when I woke up she was in full force. I have to start my clomid on cd3 - do I count yesterday or today as day 1? What would you do?

Today is CD1. Your dr should be testing you when to start but I believe protocal is usually to start on CD3 or CD5.

When I started Clomid my RE said to take on CD3 of a full flow day so I would count today as CD1

Yes, the other ladies are correct. Another weird thing that I was told by my RE is that you don't count getting your pd (as heavy as it may be) as CD1 unless it's before a certain time...like I got AF at 4pm and he said to start counting it from the NEXT day. Very confusing...

My Dr says to count CD 1 as full flow, but only if its after 5 pm.
So if I started AF on Monday night, Tuesday is my 1st day and they start me on meds as per that rationale. Although I also heard with Clomid its better to start a day early then a day late as well.
