Not having a shower with the 2nd kind of stinks!
Since finding out yesterday that we're having another little boy, I realized that we're going to need a bunch of new stuff. Not a lot, but enough that would probably break the bank.
We need all new clothes because the baby will be born around a different season, we'll need a double stroller since there's no way I can just let Caiden walk next to me with the one I have now. He'd run off and how do I chase an almost 3 yr old while pushing an infant, we might need a new carseat, not sure about that yet, new nursery bedding which is expensive. With Caiden I did Dr. Seuss/Cat in the Hat, but I don't want to do that again. I was thinking of jungle animals or dinosaurs this time. I'm sure there are other little stuff that I'll probably need as well like washcloths, binkies, BF supplies, etc. We could buy a bunch of this, it's just going to be hard to buy all of it.  We have the nursery furniture which is great, but I'm also going to have to buy Caiden a new dresser since the one he has now has the changing table on it, and the baby will need that. I still have time to figure all this out, but I didn't realize how much still we'll still need to buy. The more I think about it, the less stuff we have that I think we can use? I know that 3 years isn't that long ago, but a lot of the stuff we have is already outdated. Any suggestions?

Will you friends and family send you gifts for the baby? We've had small showers for all of my friends having their second baby. Just much more low key and we make sure to get them stuff they actually need.
What about thrift/consigment shops for clothes. Craigslist for double stroller and dresser? You can get some great deals.
