I wore my nursing pjs in the hospital...top and bottom. It was easier to check the incision that way and I felt more comfortable walking (they make you walk around) the hallways in pants.
Going home I wore some comfy maternity clothes...t-shirt and sweat-type material capris.
Oh yeah, and make sure you have underwear that go well above the incision site.

I didnt BF so I wore some bigger t-shirts and pj pants/sweatpants. Basically things I would wear to bed. I wore the same stuff home too. Comfort is the key!! Try not to wear anything low in the waist, that is where your incision will be and its very uncomfortable if it rubs against it.

I wore my PJ's home, they were the most comfortable. I didn't care how I looked when I left.

in the hospital i wore nightgowns. so comfy and didnt rest on my incision and very easy to lift when the doctor and nurses need to check your incision. home, i wore a maternity dress.

yoga pants and a tshirt....but if I could I would have very well just left with the gown on..who cares at that point..you just want to get home with your lil' one..

In the hospital I wore thin cotton capri PJ pants and a t-shirt and to come home I wore a yoga pants-sweat suit type of thing.
I actually was a LOT more comfortable in my PJs with pants then the nightgown that I had packed.

I wore the hospital gown for most of my stay at the hospital. Going home I wore a pair of my stretch knit maternity pants that had a high waist. Along with grandma panties

I wore a night gown in the hospital, very easy access for the dr's and nurses to check your incision and home I wore very light pj/lounge pants and a maternity tee shirt.

Sweats & a hoodie for me ( it was October). But when I got home I couldn't wait to take them off and put on my hubby's pj's. I lived in button-down shirts for a while (nursed) and HUGE underwear

I wore a nursing nightgown in the hospital. For the trip home, I wore a maternity skirt and top.

I hated the gown so I only wore it the first day. I wanted my own PJs on. I wore a very cozy pair of pants and shirt home with slip on sneakers. I actually retained a TON of water after surgery and couldn't get shoes on. Also, bring your own pillow and place it between you and your seat belt for the ride home. It really helps!

I forgot to bring something to wear home so I wore the same maternity shorts and t shirt I wore to the hospital.
