I hear the same exact thing all the time. My answer is, we have plenty of time to buy a house, we need to live for today not two years from now when maybe we'll be able to afford a house on this island. I want to have fun now, while I am still young. The house will come!!

Whenever *I* want to spend money on something, this is what I have to hear.

i hear the same thing from Dh too about oh the way you spend your money we will never get a house you need to learn to save the money not spend but its ok for him to go to three Rollingstones concert,a trip with his friends but i spend my money foolishly yea ok i am going to a Duran Duran concert thats it!
