He was alseep by time we got to the house so we just sat him down and I immediately ran to my beagle to show him some love then went on to clean and renest my house since my husband didn't do much over the 48 hours I was away and I needed everything perfect.
It's sick how much I am nesting and being a clean freak now. I never really did it to this extent while my pregnancy.

Shower and then sleep! With the baby right next to me, sleeping in the bassinet of course.

I greeted the dog first and then let him sniff a blanket the baby had used. Then we bought in the baby and let the dog smell him while he was sleeping in the carrier. Then I just laid down on the couch bc I was very sore and tired.
My mom was here for 2 weeks so I didn't have to cook or clean when I first got home.

My baby didn't get to come home with me until like 3 days later. So my first few days home I started washing some clothes for him, stocking up on formula and getting his room ready between running back and forth from the hospital to sit with him in NICU. He came 3 weeks early so I wasn't ready since the last piece of furniture (the biggest piece) came 2 days before I went into labor. When he got home he was sleeping in his carrier and I think we just put it on the kitchen floor and stared at him and DH and I looked at each other - like now what?

WE got home at 2 p.m. on a Thursday (I had been int eh hospital since Sunday at 7a.m.), and we let him sleep in the car seat while I layed down on the couch. 2 hours later, we had family over for a small BBQ. It was perfect and a small gathering to welcome him home. Best part, was that I didn't have to lift a finger!

WEll my mom and dad were at my house with one of my brothers so I came home sat on the couch with the baby. There wasn't much to do since right before I started having contraction I went into a cleaning frenzy and cleaned the entire apartment from 2:30pm till 9:30pm so my mom just kept up with everything. She stayed with me for a week then my grandmother came to stay with me for a week so I had alot of help
