Re: when you bought your house...

We do, but only about $3000. We had paid down our cards before the wedding, and only use them for Gas & shopping and emergencies, so most of them get paid off right away.

Not when we bought our house.

But now we have a little bit of debt, but it's no interest financing for a washing machine we bought at Best Buy.

Re: when you bought your house...

I find it impressive that you are all cc debt free for the most part. Dh and I have been paying ours down, but we still have a way to go. We havent even used the cards in years, but we relied on them to get us through college, grad school and law school...yikes!

Re: when you bought your house...

Some, but not a whole lot - maybe $3k-$4k... the heavy duty credit card debt came after the house, when we made all our renovations! We opened a zero interest card, and put all of the renovation expenses on it, and JUST finished paying it off this month... one year later!

Re: when you bought your house...

not that much....we paid off our credit cards with our wedding $$ and then saved up for a DP for the house. Now, it's back up again Chat Icon
