I need to vent about people...sometimes I cant believe them!
I cant believe people!
I posted the other day about my best friend being in Iraq and needing supplies for the troops. So I sent up a drive at work and my director sent a note home asking each family to drop one simple toiletry in the box.
About 10 parents have questioned me about this. Asking me why they dont have supplies, who my friend is, why we are doing a drive at work, when exactly am I sending it out and to who exactly....not sympathetic though...like accusing me of doing something wrong! I couldnt believe it..finally I said if you dont want to donate anything, thats fine! I am sure enough people will!
I just cant believe it! What kind of christmas spirit is that...not to mention human spirit???? People shock me sometimes I swear!

Its really sad to hear what this world has come to. I think with all the fraud and people tight with money these days the ugly sides come out. But for toiletries- come on!!!!! People have to lighten up!
GL and if you need toiletries let me know, I will support them!

I think it's very sad to hear people questioning your motives. I think it's hard for people to distinguish between supporting our troops and supporting this war.
It's very sweet of you to organize nonetheless.

Sorry Noreen!! I remember how clueless some of those parents were, I remember what you got last year. You'd think you were asking for a million dollars or diamonds...instead they are questioning a 99 cent tube of toothpaste or 50 cent roll of toilet paper. And whats even sadder is that half those people at your place have more than enough to give!!!
