when you lose your mucus plug what does it look like?

i lost mine over a few days- it kinda looked like a thick jellyfish.
I know it can plop too, buit i dont know what thats like

ok becuase i think im starting to lose it, kinda looks like gooey snot - sorry for the description wanted to make sure. I go to the doctor on the 11th and had bad cramping this morning but no contractions.

i called my doctor and she asked if i had cramping and i told her what i was experiencing and she said yes I am losing my mucus plug. She said i could go into labor in a day or even a week. So that doesnt really help. no contractions just cramping.

theyve been packed for about a month now and ive packed and repacked a diaper bag with clothes for the baby. I also typed up a list of important numbers of family and friends to call for DH. Im so glad he canceled his work trip to california today he was suppose to leave this morning and come back the evening of the 11th.

Alicia, its scary how close we are! My DH's b-day is thursday and my brothers is tomorrow i hope she can hold off till either the 11th or the 13th this way she has her own day.

he finally went back to work today but is on meds until thursday. he cancelled his 3 day trip to california becuase of the baby and not feeling well. I was lucky not to catch what he had. I aired out the house today since the weather was beautiful.

Mine was a blob of gooey snot like material with traces of blood in it. You will def know when it happens.

I *think* I lost mine and it just looked like thicker discharge. I felt more wet/slimy when I wiped. I had no bloody show though....that's what made me wonder whether or not I lost it

yeah i have no bloody show and then called my doctor and she said that it was my mucus plug i have an appt on the 11th and will know more then. just curious how soon after you start to lose your mucus plug do you go into labor.
