Wedding Album Question....What style do you have? And why do you like or dislike it?
3 1/2 years later I am FINALLY getting my album done. I have all my pictures printed, we need to have them mounted in an album though. Which leads me to this.....
1. Do you have a flush mounted or matted ablum?
2. Likes and dislikes of it? (like did the edges of the pages get ruined, did the gilding wear off on the flush mounted type? ect....)

matted. didn't get damaged, but it's never opened. i think we looked at it once or twice and it sat on our coffee table for 2 years, my mom looked at it once, MIL looked at it twice. That's about it. by the time we got it i was so sick of wedding pictures.

Our album is flush mouted - we keep it in the box and don't pull it out that frequently so it's in perfect condition. I really like the look of it.

Ours is flush mounted...it's black with black edges (as opposed to silver or gold)...and it's more rectangular than square. I love our album - it came out beautiful.
I keep it on the bottom shelf of our coffee table...it's in great condition.

We also have a flush album - they are all 8x10 photos and I really like it. I like that the photos are 8x10, but the book is not huge to accommodate the matting. Also, I think it is has a classic look to it. My parents' album is flush and I have always liked the look of it.
Ours is also kept in the box and hasn't come out too often, so it is in great shape.

Thanks girls! Our photos were all printed 10x10....I wanted a larger book.....but thinking about....the flush mounted may be better....not too big....the matted would turn out to be like 12x12 then!
Flush mounted it is!
