Updated Pic of my House
We've done a crap load of work. Here's the latest! Finally an almost done bathroom...just molding left! We gutted everything to the studs and added the cathedral ceiling. We did everything ourself except the spackling!
At our walk thru....this is seriously before we even touched the place!
now....

That looks fantastic!!!!!
Did you do the tiling yourselves? Was it hard? It looks so great.
I see it's a different sink did you also replace toilet and tub?
We have to do a lot of the same work you did and I am so impressed!

Yup we did everything ourselves and everything in there is new. Tiling was a real pain! We also picked very heavy ones so they were hard to put up in the shower, you really had to hold them or they slide down!
It was a lot of work, but totally worth it.
Now we just have to do molding, decorations, etc. We even started our laundry shoot that is in the bathroom closet!

You have a dad that knows his stuff! It actually wasn't too bad. You just frame the walls all the way up to meet the roof (we have a ranch). Then you sheetrock over it. Where our bathroom is in the house, was an easy spot to do it. We'll see what happens when we do it to my kitchen next!
The highest point in the room is 11 ft, it really looks great and gives the bathroom a bigger feel!
