Woman Missing from Cruise Ship
So scary 
MIAMI (1010 WINS) -- Athorities are investigating the disappearance of a Florida woman from a cruise ship sailing along the coast of Italy, relatives say.
Family members identified the woman as Elizabeth Kay Galeana, 22, of Naples, Fla., reporting missing Tuesday from Royal Caribbean's Voyager of the Seas.
Royal Caribbean confirmed only that the missing woman was from the United States and would not identify her, spokesman Michael Sheehan said.
The ship was en route to Naples, Italy, from the port of Civitavecchia, near Rome, according to Royal Caribbean.
Italian authorities conducted air and sea searches but had called off their efforts.
``We know that she is missing, but that's really all we know,'' John Scanlan, a sales manager at Galeana Chrysler and Jeep in Fort Myers, told The Associated Press.
A Greenwich, Conn., man disappeared from a Royal Caribbean cruise in July 2005. George Allen Smith IV, 26, disappeared in the Mediterranean after a night of heavy drinking.
The FBI is investigating, but no one has been charged and a body has not been recovered.

I didn't give it a second though before, but now with all of these disappearances, I'd be a little more cautious on a cruise.

Honestly, there is no reason to be scared! I have been on 8 cruises without a problem. People forget that cruises are like mini-cities, there are good and bad people! You just need to exercise the same level of common sense that you do here.
It bothers me that in a lot of these stories, excessive alcohol is involved  . People let their guard down too much!!

well the good thing is I will be with my family my mom, dad, brother in law, sister,my niece& nephew, my aunt and uncle, mom in law and father in law and ofcourse Dh. this is My 6th cruise But my 1st cruise going with someone I love!
