Customer service gone wrong...
what has happened to customer service. Everytime I deal with these businesses I feel like they are the customer and I have to deal with them. When I began planning my wedding I handed out money here and there and after they had it, we were treated terribly. I am still waiting for my albums/video and the women has the nerve to call and yell at me about my stuff on my machine. How dare her 4,000 dollars later. I would NEVER treat anyone like crap at my workplace both clients or employees. How rude these places have gotten. Maybe its the wedding industry.

i TOTALLY understand.
my sister made an appt w/ cablevision 2 weeks ago for a new install. their appt was 11-2. my sister called at 1:45 and they said they were running late. she called again at 3:00 and again they were running late. she called AGAIN at 4:30 and they said the tech came to the "brown" house at 3:40 and nobody was home. she said, "well, he came to the wrong house because we were here and our house in not brown". long story short they said it was her word against theirs and they now have to reschedule. next available appointment was 5 days later. i told her that it is customary for them to discount the bill if the tech is late or fails to show so they did honor that. HOWEVER, the credit is given ONLY if the customer requests it.

similar thing happend to me... our phone wasnt working so I called verizon, they were supposed to come betweeon 2-6pm so I leave work early get home before 2... well at 6 I call them to complain and they tell me that someone was there but noone was at home that is such bullsh&t... these larger companies dont give a shat if you are their costumer or not, totally stinks..

Especially cable and phone companies- the options out there are limited and in the case of cable, who wants to deal with satellite and all that? Time Warner used to make me crazy when I lived in Queens.
